Skydive Video

OK - you've heard the stories, you've seen the photos; heck, some of you even witnessed the actual event. Now check out the video. See the terror in our hero's face as he exits a perfectly good airplane and falls to earth like bird droppings!

We gon' party like it's yo burfday!!!

Whoaaa...what an incredible burf-day! Thanks Zach, Kresta, and all other material contributors!! So yea, I've been talking smack for years about skydiving, and I finally had to put my money (well, not MY money!) where my mouth is. Any way, I'm a different person today - and I can't wait to go again!

I love this photo of Sarah, Luz and Lizzie.

Aren't the boys looking older? So handsome!

This is blurry but it still cute!

I told Sal and Sofia to smile and they were being so funny. I couldn't get a straight face out of them.

Ethan ran the Wellsville mile in May. These are some of friends from his class. He came in 56th place out of a heat of about 200. He did really well. He is a natural when it comes to running. Logan has a junior running club called the "Logan Flyers" that I am looking into. It's sounds like a lot of fun. He loved this experience. He had to train for 6 weeks before the race. We ran around our neighborhood, ran on the treadmill, and he trained with his class. It was so fun.

Cueca Dance

Hi, everybody!
This is a little part of the actual dance. Enjoy it.

A Couple More

We finally made some empanadas for some friends. These are a very typical Argentine food. They are filled with ground beef, onions, hard boiled egg, green olives, and raisins. They are soo yummy.Las weekend we all went to watch Cesar dance they traditional dance of Chile called the "Queca." We had a really fun time.

Here is a picture of Luz with her big girl hair! I thought she looked so grown up.

Cesar took this of Luz yesterday. Doesn't she look so sweet?

SOS

We lose a lot of things. The most current item is our camera- if any of you have seen it let us know, we think we took it to Leah's for the BBQ the day before mothers day or a lady looking at our apartment stole it... we'd prefer it to be with the fam :) Let us know! Have a memorable memorial day :)

Perez Family Update

These past few weeks have been so fun as Lucy learns new things everyday it seems. She is getting around quite well and loves to dace. She is so glad that Eleanor does too...they can have dance party together. She says Mama every time I go into her room to get her from her crib...and loves to talk on the phone with everyone. I usually put it on speaker and she kisses the phone, and waves hello and goodbye to whomever is on the other end.
Here she is with Cesar learning to be a total ham infront of the camera.
She loves to wear her pretty dresses. It is so funny how somehow she knows what a pretty dress is and she acts like a little princess!!

One kiss for you!
She loves the utensil drawer in the Kitchen. I think she empties it at least 3 times a day!

She loves to go on walks. Usually she rides with her partner Davis, but today she is with Keri Tibbets little boy, Joseph.

Here is a video of when Lucy was first wanting to give everyone Besos...it was such a love hate moment for her. She was kissing so sweetly and then wanted to poke his eyes out!

Eight is Enough!

Yada, Yada, Yada, Jen is not moving to Provo. She has to be out of her house today, but a rental won't be available for a few weeks, so she and her kids are going to stay with us for a while. Thank goodness we have some extra room! It's a little overwhelming to think that this was our house growing up!

Weekend in Newport, Rhode Island

We went to Newport to celebrate Gabe's Army discharge. (We got the honorable discharge certificate in the mail, today!!) We drove through New Haven, CT and stopped by Yale on the way. Elle really liked it. I guess we need to start saving up.

Newport is famous for its mansions. This is Breakers - the summer home of the NY Vanderbuilts.

Taking a stroll on the beach.

Elle's first swimming experience. Notice Sofia's swimming suit :) Elle was wary of the splashing kids at first, but warmed up after a while. Her favorite part was waving to the lap swimmers.
The view of Newport from our room.

Another manion - The Elms

Mansion pebbles are tastier than the ones at home.

Dancing all night

Even though Elle is only 1/8 hispanic (¡pobrecita!), she still feels like she needs to be awake after midnight - dancing. Now that's a strong gene.

As a funny afterthought, here's a funny video of Elle trying desparately to pull off her sock.

Blog Hog

Hi Everyone! Sorry to be a Blog Hog, but this is the first chance I've had to post in over 2 months! Lizzie has changed A LOT! And, yes, Sal is wearing the same shirt in almost every photo. It's his only "cool" shirt. I have to trick him to let me wash it!

First cereal

Pink blob=Lizzie Green blob=Lucy

Time for the buckle...

The stickers were to put on a mask- Sal liked the human version better

These are some SERIOUS Edwards cheeks!

Ready for church ball...

Who's the baby for the baby gym?

Our little sweetie!

What a big girl to hold her own bottle!

Don't call CPS, I WAS supervising the situation!

Loving the big girl chair

Maybe not so much...

Spring Break with Riley, Callin & Quinn at Hogle Zoo

Don't be fooled. We spent 10 hours at Boondocks! Sal LOVED the skee ball!

The funny thing is that he showed the same enthusiasm for the 2 holes in one he got playing miniature golf!

Grandma Chiq still has the touch for getting babies to sleep

Hey, just because I don't have teeth doesn't mean I don't want Easter candy!

Testing out the new Jolly Jumper

It's a keeper!
