Part of our Spring cleaning includes blogging from Christmas. (More pics on
our blog.)
Elle making Christmas cards

Christmastime pics

Seb was Joseph at the Scheiber-Huber family Christmas eve party

Elle did the same thing

We flew home Christmas morning. Seb slept until we left and Elle had time to open a present or two. We had Christmas morning when we got back in January.

Our typical winter vacation

Aunt Derri Dee's car and some nice neighbors

Family dinner party and book exchange at Juniper take-out

All of the Spencer siblings had a picture together so the in-laws went to the basement for their own photo op.

Sebastien in Aunt Tenessa's ski lodge boots (Grandma Daleen's sister)

Uncle Goeff, Grandma, Aunt Tenessa, cousins Brooke and Logan from Atlanta (Daleen's mom and sister)

Elle missed Ethan

Our third annual three-some picture, June July and September 06 cousins

07 cousins, Seb wanted Franny to look at him for the picture

Christmas Eve party

Mike made this chair for grandpa from some old skiis. Everyone was jealous!

I heard someone laugh a few isles over in a store and knew it was Warren Burton. He's an old professor of mine and former cello teacher of Gabe's. We love Dr. Burton!

Grandma Shurtliff

At grandma Daleen's cabin at Bear Lake

Grandpa John and Grandma Chiq off to snowshoe for the morning

View from the cabin, the fog over the lake

Aunt Sarah

Great Aunt Melva, turning 100 years old on June 15!!! We made sure to get a picture with her and our kids.

You CANNOT go to Utah without stopping at Maddox

Sebastien has to be touching my hair at all times, it's sweet until my hair gets frizzy

Uncle Josh and Aunt Leah

Seb wanted to play the piano after Tanner performed for us

We stopped at Temple Square on our way to the airport

Eleanor plays and sings a little trump song whenever we see Moroni or a picture of a temple

Back at home, we went to Julie Savage's book signing party- just published Women Making America (yeah Julie and Heidi!). This is Eleanor (Ella) Savage, who we named Eleanor after.

Julie, the author

Sunday afternoon walk with the Hawley family, Eleanor's friend Sofia

Eleanor puts her leg up dancing like a ballerina. This is Seb's imitation of her, needed the fridge for stability

At the park, everyday

Stopping for a kiss

I watched the Hawley kids for a morning. All they wanted to do was lay in my bed and have me read them books librarian style. I read for an hour and a half with them like this.

Seb's hangs on Elle's every word

Me (viola), Kelly Stewart (cello), Emily Ricks (violin), Grace Boeringer (violin)- we played quartets all night long, had a treat to eat, talked and played some more. It was a great night playing for fun together!

Peek-a-boo (dinner got out of hand)

Eleanor observing her first Saturday morning group class before beginning lessons in the fall. She loved it.

Watching Gabe hem a curtain

On our one and only big snowstorm Elle and Seb ate snow off the back porch all day long.

Our open-mouthed sleeping kids, thanks Gabe

We often find Eleanor and Sebastien behind the table. Elle yells, "Seb, hurry, it's raining!" (pretending and looking up at the kitchen ceiling). They run for cover (under the table) and shut the doors (the chairs) and are safe and dry inside their little 'house'.

The orangutans had a wire to play on high above the zoo walkways

The play tunnels at the zoo

Eleanor and Sebastien ran full-force into each other at the park. Seb walked away without a mark but Elle had a black eye for weeks.

Eleanor was laying on the rug in the sun by the sliding glass door one day and said, "Mom's head," pointing up to the trees outside. She said it looked like a butterfly was sitting on my nose. Sometimes when we go outside she looks up and says, "Hi mom!"

She picked that out of this group of trees (middle bunch of trees)

Seb's red face and curls after dancing with Eleanor

Family Home Evening- acting out the gospel library pictures. This is the flight to Egypt (Elle is Mary, Gabe is the donkey and Seb doesn't like that he is Joseph walking next to the donkey). Now they want to act out the pictures every morning.

Enos praying with his bow and arrow

The Apostles catching fish in their fishing boat (shortly after Elle stood up and said with her arms up, "Calm down water, peace, be still.")

Our super sick kids. We were inside for five days straight throwing up. They slept on me all day, each day.

They fell asleep after only five minutes of Charlotte's Web.

Compromise for both wanting to be on my lap.

Seb learned to get out of his crib this week. We watched how he did it- head first. We set up his toddler bed which matches Elle's.

That sure was a great catch up. I love Seb's little red nose, out of many many photos I love from this bunch! I can't believe Eleanor's poor eye. Thanks for the long post.
