Melissa was induced at about 1:00 pm on (I think) On June 2nd and labored until 10:45 pm.
Everyone waiting. Dad showed up a little bit later.
Some of us had some business to attend to whilst waiting for the big show.
When we all showed up at about 7:30, she was at a 4. She progressed rapidly after that and she was fully dialated at 9:30.
She began pushing at 10:44
And KEPT pushing for TWO HOURS!! What a trooper!
Little Belen arrived with a full head of hair at 12:45 am on June 3rd. She weighed 8lbs 4 oz. and was 20 1/2 in long. Her Apgar was 9 and 9. (Almost a perfect score!) Healthy girl! She hardly cried after she came out. She was just content all bundled up in our arms. (I like her grip on the scale)
She already needs a haircut! What a cutie.

Another big surprise came when Cesar gave Melissa her present. A diamond ring!!
