We stayed at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, the hotel where John Lennon and Yoko Ono staged their "bed in" in 1969. The room happened to be empty, so we were able to tour the room. All of the furniture is original. We were able to take a photo on the bed were they recorded "give peace a chance". It was cool! Dad, we have to go back. I was with you in spirit. You would have appreciated it much more than we did. And for anyone with an affinity for the French language, Europe, or the best Hot Chocolate I have ever had, (and I know my Hot Chocolate!), you would love Montreal. Also, Thanks so much for taking such great care of our kids while we were gone. It is impossible to have fun if you are stressed about what's going on at home. Thanks so much for everything. We Love You!!

There is a lot of memorabilia in the room. The room is asian-deco style. It rents for $2,000 per night in season. They said it gets booked a lot.
