Our Week With Davis
While the Lows were in Mexico, Mom, Amelia and I took care of Davis. Although Leah was so worried about him being bad...he was fun to be with and see his little personality. Cesar taught him to say "Mejico" instead of Mexico. He would say to Amelia, "I wanna go Mejico." She would assure him next year was his year!

A Lucy Update
I know that it has been forever since we've blogged. So here it goes. The first set of pics are what Lucy is up to these days. She is more and more independant. She is speaking soo much. Her newest words are Sarah, Julia, mio, mine. Those two she says in both languages to make sure you understand it is really hers! I want dat, te quiero, and Belén. Which by the way is what we are naming the baby. Her first official sentence that I could really understand the other day was "I want fideos." Those are noodles in spanish. Don't worry that that is what she wanted for breakfast. Just like Grandma Edwards!

The other day I asked Lucy to take off her bib when all of a sudden I heard "Mami, Mami" and Lucy was cracking herself up with her new wig.
She loves putting on makeup!
She is really good at multi tasking....It takes special talent to talk and read at the same time!
I couldn't get this to rotate...but as you can see just standing on the chiar wasn't high enough for her. So she just went ahead and climbed the chair to get a better view!
Don't forget to smile!
If you are having a difficult day today... the solution then is to see this picture for 1 minute.

Winter pics and vids
A few weeks ago Elle and Seb had a checkup. Eleanor weighed in at 20.5 lbs. and Seb at 18.5. We have a delicate flower and a little bruiser on our hands. Seb thinks that Eleanor is hilarious. He's always watching her and laughing.

Elle loves walking with her hands in her pockets
Elle confiscated our upstairs neighbor's fruit display - continuing her pocket obsession. They let us take some home - we gave it back the next day when she wasn't watching.

This is how Amber distracts Eleanor while Gabe teaches Seminary in the living room. One boot?

Mom's night out in Port Washington. Dads were forced to stay home with the kids against their wills.
Elle's two favorite librarians: Karen and Fran
Waiting on the front porch for dad to come home.

Seb's a good sport. Elle dumped her unwanted cheerios on him on the way home from church.

Gabe bought a train for Amber when he was in Grafenwoher, Germany. It was a hit.
Elle's usual welcome when Gabe gets home. It's a big ego boost for him.
Our friends from church taught their 3-year-old son to memorize John 3:16. Impressive!
Here's an old video from the summer at Central Park Zoo. We still like to sing this song with Elle and Seb. Enjoy.
