Family Night Funnies

Can you believe how adorable these two are? I asked to take a picture, and Davis wrapped his arm behind Sofia, so cute!

Do I look like my mommy or my daddy?

And then she found the bottom of davis' shoe :) But still so cute!

Is it normal to walk outside to get in your car and see your husband doing this?

Halloween

With the members of the Valle Hermoso branch, we went to visit the grandpas and grandmas at the Sunshine Terrace. The experience was nice after being with people that the only thing that they need is a little time to talk.

Davis has not been properly represented!

We have so many cute pics of Davis that I never blog. Here are a selected few.
We had a great summer at the ball park watching Ethan and Tanner play their games.
Davis was in a particularly chipper mood.

I had to document this momentous occasion! Davis just sat down of own volition and didn't move. He actually rested long enough for me to take this picture. He restored our faith in miracles.

This was at the pool on the fourth of July. So handsome!

Davis and Sarah were bonding on our camping trip.

More fun at the baseball game. Love those push-pops!

Josh, Paul, Ethan, and Tanner went on a boys trip to San Diego to see Barry Bonds break his home run record. This was a huge event for sports fans. They made great memories. While in San Diego, they attended games, went deep sea fishing, played in the ocean, and shredded at some serious skate parks.

Paul found his soul mate! Most likely the only two t-shirts of their kind. Impeccable taste!

Ethan and Tanner were in heaven attempting the x-games mega ramp.

Sofia loved holding, as Davis calls her, "Panny" for the first time.
Sofia turned five on October 7. Sofia had her birthday party at the beauty college. The girls got mini-manicures and an an up-do. It was so fun.

Tanner was baptized on September 1. He was so excited.

Seb's Second Month

Seb has almost caught up to Elle in size. He's 15 lbs. (2 months) and Elle is 20 lbs. (16 months). Seb is almost out of his 3-6 month clothes. Elle still is the boss, though - she loves to kiss him, but unintentionally leaves tooth marks quite often. She likes to hold him, but sometimes hugs a little too tightly. And then one day, she took the apple slicer to his head - with only minor injuries. But all this is very much out of love.

Elle still likes to dance. She learned a few more signs like airplane and siren. She loves being chased by mom and dad, but she doesn't like getting caught (I guess to her, that means the fun is over). She loves being outside and looking for birds. She loves kidney beans and cottage cheese. She's been patting her diaper when it's full, so we decided to see how she'd react to sitting on the toilet. For some reason, unknown to us, she's terrified of the toilet. So, I guess it will be a while before we try that again.

One month old.

Cheesy
Aunt Natalie!
Elle loves to say "Hi" to Seb. She draws it out in a high-pitched voice, "Hiiiiiii."
Again, "Hiiiiiiiiii."

So tired. Almost ... made it.... to my bed.

Exploring at the park. Elle filled her pockets with acorns.

You can dress 'em up, but you can't take 'em out.

Apparently, it's Elle's turn to use the camera.
Manorhaven park
At our ward Labor Day picnic with the Valenzuelas
After the picnic, we went to the Central Park Zoo. Elle would have been content to just hang with the sea lions all day.

It's llama time

Hooray for going on a walk!!
Our new car.
"Now that was funny!"
"Remember that joke you just told? That was awesome."

What was that?
