Long live Che Guevara

Today is the anniversary of the asassination of Che Guevara. Just thought you all might want to know.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Che_Guevara
Enough about Che. We wanted to say how much fun it is to see everyone on the blog. All the recent pictures are so adorable. The grandkids are getting so big it is crazy. It makes us so excited to get to the states. We had to get the interview changed due to Argentina's great filing system and not being able to find the actual document in time. But maybe it is for the better, as we will have more evidence in our favor. Anyway here are two little pictures of Lucy taken just moments ago. She is laughing more and more and is always so smiley. When we get a little discouraged we just play with Luz and she makes us forget about everything. We love and miss you all....Melissa, Cesar and Lulu

What a sweet smile! She loves to play with Mr. Spider.

Amber and Zach's Day with the Low kids in Hooper

Leah and Josh let us take the kids to a fun filled day in Hooper. We ate pizza and played with the puppies, and enjoyed some pretty funny moments in the car.

Bootsie took over the camera

Future Homecoming Queen

Ethan, Tanner, and Sofia named the puppies, I think the names ended up being Anthony, Danny, David, Ashley, and John

Gabe's Birthday vids

I liked the rendition, but Eleanor - not so much.

We invited an eclectic group over for a birthday party. We had lots of fun! We love our upstairs neighbors, the Valenzuelas. They are from Santiago, Chile.

Eleanor's 4 months

We just our computer back from the shop. It was weird not having a computer for a while - but nice to disconnect from technology and take a break. Elle and Lucy turned 4 and 3 months last Friday. Elle tells us that she is ecstatic about her newest cousin, Lizzy!
_____

Elle started flight lessons last week.

Gabe's office at North Shore University Hosptial. Rank has its privileges: a tiny corner closet/office with no window or door - ouch.

Look closely: the Adria Hotel! This is in Bayside Queens.

Elle, on her 4-month birthday

It's my party, and I'll cry if I want to.

Elle found out about her toes and can't get enough of them.

I think this is cute photo of Mom, Dad, and the Girls.
This was taken at Sarah's 13 family birthday party.

Sofia's first day of Cache Valley Civic Ballet at the Whittier School.
(She's the one in the middle)

The Masoner family cathing some rays at the Logan Aquatic center.
Lizzie was born two weeks later. I love this picture.
What more can you ask for?

Kestle and Ethan are best buds right now.
They were enjoying a lazy summer day hanging out poolside.
I wish I could freeze this moment in time.

Some Recent Photos

I had a nice visit with Lizzie and Adria in the Hospital. It is always so much fun to hold a brand new baby. She smelled soooo good! I wanted to post a photo of the fall leaves. They are in full bloom and the valley is so beautiful right now. Providence canyon is in the background.

Tanner is following in the footsteps of those that have come before him-he is blind as bat! The poor kid had been complaining of a headache since he started school again. We decided to have his eyes checked and he has the works-farsightedness and astigmatism. He looks adorable in new specs. The bonus is that he can actually see now. He told me that I don't look "fuzzy" anymore!

Sofia loves pushing Davis in the doll stroller. He isn't so sure about it when she gets close to the stairs. They play together well for the most part. When "Buster"(that's what she calls him) is bothering her, she closes her door to get some peace and quiet. Being four can be exhausting!

Happy October!

The real game at the Usu v UofU football game
Zach's first day of school
Hey Family! Yes, we're alive! Zach passed his Real Estate School test, with a whopping 94%, and now he only has the state test this saturday! We are so excited to have a normal life together, where we actually live with eachother again! Does anyone want a puppy or know someone who does? They are adorable! I wish I could keep them all, but No Pets at Twin Creek! We love you all!
Love amber and zach!

Hot off the press!

Here is our first amatuer family photo. This was taken yesterday after church. Lucy is quite a ham. She is great at putting on a show when asked to.
Lucy loves the primary. She knows all the songs and answeres all the questions. What an smart child!
Sometimes she gets a little bored so I have to play with her to keep her quiet.

Spring eve.

In this part of the year, once again the chemistry becomes present in the air that we breathe and in the green things that our eyes perceive, the spring brings to us a magic touch.
The spring is my favorite station because it makes me feel that after all, all begins once again. This spring will be very different from others because it will be the first spring that I'll be with Melissa and Luz.
I have found a Video Clip that is called: " I call it love " and I want to dedicate it to my 2 beautiful florecitas.

Happy Spring! (South America)

Crazy Horse, Devil's Tower and Mt. Rushmore

Here are a few more pics of our little trip to Wyoming/South Dakota. There is so much history there. We reccommend you all go there at least once to check these cool places out in person. Postcards really don't do much justice. FYI...All four Presidents at Rushmore could fit into just the one head at the Crazy Horse monument. Neet-o!

Abe...Honestly!

Here we are at Mt. Rushmore with our friends Shelby, David and their baby, Allie. We had such a great time and couldn't have asked for better weather!

Having Fun in Argentina

Two of Melissa´s friends came to visit her and Luz in Argentina.
This is the video of that moment.
Enjoy it.

Elle's first giggles

We love Elle's laugh. She is yet to laugh at the same thing twice, so that keeps us on our toes.

Elle, gallivanting about the island

Elle's been getting out of the house quite a bit lately. She loves the ocean and her cute sun hat. Of course, she's the cutest baby on the beach!

Elle and Amber looking out at Montauk Point - The southeasternmost point on Long Island.

On the night of 9-11. At the town dock waiting for the WTC floodlights to turn on.

Sunbathing . . . but not too much. Elle inherited skin from her mother.

Is this safe?

I am not a medical expert...but I am pretty sure this is not a safe way for Lucy to sleep. Can you find her under her "nicey"?

The old Spencer Family trick of using my garment top has worked like a charm. The only problem is that she loves to cover her whole face with it! I have to constantly check on her while she is going to sleep to make sure she is ok.

Once she is asleep, I uncover her an she sleeps like a baby.

Oh Say Can You See...

Well it´s official. Luz is a US citizen as of today! She passed her interviews and will recieve her passport in 7-10 days along with her Consular Report of Birth Abroad Certificate. We are 50% there!!! Now we are asking to pull all our faith, prayers and fasting together for Cesars Visa. We have the interview on October 5th, so if you could fast with us whenever your next fast Sunday is that we will have all the paper work we need and that they can process the visa quickly we would appreciate it. We are very excited, but nervous at the same time. The Embassy is so nerve wracking, and everything has to be exactly right or they send you home empty handed. I don´t wish this experience on anyone. Thank you for all your support. We really do appreciate it. Love, Melissa, Cesar and Luz

Happy Birthday Anniversary

I would like to wish my cousin Elle and myself a wonderful 2 and 3 month anniversary. I hope your day is full of milk, milk, and more milk as mine will be. Love, Lucy

This pic was taken at the ward primary birthday party on Saturday. It was Lucy's first birthday party. She really enjoyed it.

Love from Argentina

Here are some of the latest pictures of our family. This month has been a lot of fun. Celica came from Chile to spend time with Lucy. Saying goodbye yesterday was hard for me. It is the first real goodbye. We will not see her again before we come to the states. It is starting to feel real that we will be leaving Argentina and of course there are always mixed emotions. We still aren´t sure of the date when we will be home, but we know it is coming. We are anxious to get started on that chapter of our lives, but it seems wierd to think we won´t be in Argentina anymore. We will continue to enjoy it here while we can.
Here is our family picture. What a difference is size from my side of the family!

Lucy is getting bigger every single day.

Out on the town with Mom, Tia Naty and Tia Celica.

This is the face that we love. We think it is so cute.

Tia Celica has been here visitng for a month. She had a lot of fun with Lucy. She was so sweet to babysit and give me a little time to get some things done.

Here is Lucy with Grandma Monica. Monica loves to be with Lucy every chance she gets.

Grandpa Manuel loves putting Lucy to sleep.

We thought this was so cute. At the Marriott they would make up her little crib everyday and she slept so good in it.

Here is our little princess on her blessing day.

One more.
